I saw and photographed La Sagra's Flycatcher at Bill Baggs State Park on March 2, 2011 at about 3 PM along the paved bicycle trail off the No Name Harbor parking lot between the restaurant and the first trail to the left. The bicycle trail runs along the bay. The La Sagra's was with an Eastern Phoebe and was not vocalizing, but it perched momentarily in plain view before disappearing into the hammock. I was given great help in the morning by Carlos Sanchez and Robin Diaz when Robin found the bird in a restricted area of the park. Their advice to look for the bird along the bicycle trail in the afternoon paid off. They are great birders and great ambassadors for Florida birding.
