Okeeheelee (WPB) is still active with a grand display of over 12 buntings (9 painted and three indigo), one very friendly palm warbler ( 2 feet distance from photographers) three catbirds, several cardinals, one dickcissell, five mourning doves--all at the feeder at the same time. Wow. A photographers dream come true. Maybe that is why it rained and the wind blew at 25 mph! But we got in some pictures. The indigo bunting (both male and female) are showing good color and the diccissel is a beauty. This a 300 mm photo-op f ever there was one. Showtime begins at 7:30 AM but the "crowd" seems to all come at once at about 9:15-10:00 AM. The raccoon and squirrels are a nuisance but have their place.
