I am almost positive on this ID, Bartramia longicauda, observed at approximately 5:15pm in the field next to the commuter parking lot at Barry University, intersection of NW 115th street and NW 2 ave, the location of the old biscayne grreyhound track (all that is left of this is a long low building), there is a bulldozer by the grassy area against the fence and a stand of a couple of pines and palms surrounding a sinkhole within the grassy area. Look well in the grass, the camouflage on this bird is fantastic. I imagine this one is on his/her way back home from south america. I will post a picture if any came out, happy hunting!
