The Rose-breasted Grosbeak winters as close to South Florida as Cuba and the Yucatan Peninsula.
The Red-eyed Vireo, as has been stated, winters in the Amazon Basin. I'd be curious to see any winter records of Red-eyed Vireos even in Central America.

Most, if not all of the neotropical species wintering in extreme south Florida on a regular to rare basis primarily winter in the neighboring Bahamas, Cuba, or Mexico. For instance, it was only a matter of time until a Swainson's Thrush was found recently in ENP, and a Swainson's Warbler was suspected to have overwintered at Bill Baggs/Cape Florida State Park. The distance traveled, climate and habitat is similar enough to their normal ranges to stay in extreme south Florida. But the chances of finding a South American winter resident such as Red-eyed Vireo or Blackpoll Warbler decreases linearly with distance, in my opinion.
