I spent close to four hours from 8 a.m. searching for both birds. It was very breezey so hard to pick up calls/songs ... apart from the ubiquitous Cardinals.
My only chance now of seeing the La Sagra's would be to dig up that white gate and cart it home to England in the hope that the bird might follow.
Pip pip, cheerio, chin-chin, toodle-oo.
