Glad you corrected the banding code. I was about to reply that yes, I see many Solitary Sandpipers in south Florida, but only in migration.
As for Song Sparrows (SOSP), here's my grand total in 12 years of birding South Florida. Coincidentally they all came from the Hole-in-the-donut area of ENP:
-single bird along Research Road, Nov '04
-single bird along west edge of mound west of reseach center, this bird called with the little barking dog call several times, Dec or Jan '07 or '08
-single bird next to mound past Gate 15, Dec. '09.
I also had another bird, that also called, on the Cocoa CBC which was a write-up species even for up there, and another bird at a boat ramp in Jacksonville somewhere. No, not many in Florida at all, and especially rare in South Florida. It's not one I expect to get down here when planning a big year.
