A quick trip this afternoon produced 10 warbler species, including a male Blackpoll. This is 6 days earlier than 1997 and 2001. Two large flocks were concentrated in the lighthouse compound and north bike path, seeming to come off the water. The majority were (beautiful!) adult males. Interesting numbers: Worm-eating = 14, Palm = 11.

Also of interest: Broad-winged Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Merlin(s), adult male Indigo and Painted Buntings.
