J. W. Cobett WMA in NW Palm Beach County contains some of the target species. Red-headed woodpeckers nested last year near the southern entrance, although I don't know the current status. Bachman's sparrows can be found throughout. Red-cockaded woodpeckers are in there, but it will require some walking to get to the nest sites. DuPuis WMA, adjacent to Corbett in NW Palm Beach and SW Martin Counties has Red-cockaded near the road on the main wildlife drive. For some reason, there are no nuthatches in either of these places. Barred owls abound at Corbett. I heard plenty in the night as I walked out to an RCW colony.
Also, there were Red-headed woodpeckers nesting at Corbett last year. I don't know the current status.
