I was also to refind a Lincoln's Sparrow this morning at Eagle Lakes Community Park in Naples, Collier County. That bird was originally found by Massachusetts birder James P. Smith on February 18th. This is my Collier County species #160 for the year. Other birds of note were several Bronzed Cowbirds and a Swamp Sparrow as well as a sub-adult Bald Eagle (flyover) and a "tornado" of an estimated 7000 Tree Swallows descending on and denuding wax myrtles of their fruit in the nearby pineland edges.
