The La Sagra's Flycatcher in Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP was in a slightly different location early this monring. From 8-8:25 it was 150 yards north of the white gate, hanging out with a large mixed flock in the ficus next to the Nature Trail. Painted Buntings and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet were nearby. At 8:25 it moved to the white gate area. As I finished my survey at 9:35, it was 350 yards south of the gate and remained there during the 20 minutes I was there.
Male Northern Parulas are moving through the park, including 6 in the ficus tree, and vireos are starting to sing.
