Swainson's Warbler was seen this morning along Pond Trail. Enter from the south end; the trail runs east-west for a while and as it turns north, the bird was foraging under a Pigeon Plum tree on the right (north) side of trail.

Warbler count yesterday was 10 species, with Prairies at 120+. Many birds moved out overnight. Yesterday was FOS Common Nighthawk and Yellow-billed Cuckoo and today there were 2 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers. Two Swallow-tailed Kites are seen daily, so perhaps they are scanning Pines Canal for possible nesting.
