The color is deepening on the indigos at Okeeheelee. Although not as numerous as Painted buntings they are worth the viewing trip. The best viewing time is 7:20 - 10:00. Catbirds, ovenbirds, palm warblers also present. For photographers, 300 mm is adequate but 400 gives best results for these tiny birds. And don't leave home without your flash as the light is very poor in the feeding area which is surrounded by dense and high evgetation.
