This mated pair of RShawks were found at their usual "station" by the bridge just before the Royal Palm Hammock turn. A patient wait for 30 minutes presented the special moment. Later they were seen gathering material for a nest in the vicinity of the hammock vegetation just as you leave the sawgrass flatland coming into RPH.
The Wurdemann's Heron is still at the bridge north side. There is a gentle water flow there that produced several fish during the time we were there.
