There was a female House Finch at the intersection of 115 Street and 8th avenue this morning in Biscayne Park in northern Dade. The bird was in an Australian Pine.
The Burrowing Owls were seen yesterday in Barry University thanks to Elena. One is very tame, and allows 20-30 feet of distance between you.
And, while on the subject of finches, I forgot to mention I saw a few American Goldfinches at Eco Pond last Sunday.
