I had not seen a Grasshopper Sparrow in the SE part of the Broward County WCA since 2007. Had one or possibly two there this morning. Also saw and photographed a large (3 inch) cat track that looks suspicious for a panther. I assume there have been none reported around here in recent years. Of course, the Everglades WCA 3 is right across US-27 and communicates with known panther range.
