Barn Swallow on Virginia Key

While doing the Piping Plover Census today on Virginia Key, I came across a Barn Swallow actively working Virginia Key Beach Park east side. Is it early or wintering? Other than the annual Winter Shorebird Survey and CBC, I don't cover this area, so it's hard to know the answer.

My digibin skills were no match for its agile maneuvers so I just barely captured it with my little point-'n-shoot.
