This morning, Stefan and I decided to take a walk through the Kendall neighborhood famous for the Red-whiskered Bulbuls. At approx. 7:45 AM, several bulbuls were spotted along with an unexpected surprise: Bronzed Cowbird. The bird was perched on a wire at the intersection of 87th St. and 91st Ave. It rested on the wire for some time and allowed us to get pretty close (practically right under it) for inspection. Not bad for a quick hour of birding.
