The kites may be more distributed towards UM area right now, because South Miami has been dredging canals with heavy equipment,including the traditional kite spot near Ludlam Elementary. I have not seen a kite there yet this year. (Did have a pair of Chestnut-fronted Macaws there on Saturday afternoon, though)
