Yep, there's another wave of songbirds coming in on these ripping winds. Seen this morning by the Deuxieme Maison ponds and in the reserve:
blue-gray gnatcatcher-6
acadian flycatcher-1 (it was calling)
eastern wood pewee-1
indigo bunting-1
gray catbird-1
ovenbird-6 (not including two dead after hitting buildings :( )
black&white-4
magnolia-1
western palm-15
black-throated blue-20+ (female BTBW seems to be Bird of the Day for abundance)
cape may-5 (including one very bright adult male)
GOLDEN-WINGED-1 (earth's dullest first year female, but we'll take GWWA any way we can!)
common yellowthroat-2
american redstart-2
northern parula-2
pine warbler-1

The pine warbler was over in the reserve area on the W side of campus along with the bunting and yellowthroats, otherwise that area is not nearly as productive in my experience as the ponds. The golden-wing was at the pond, naturally; in the trees around the smaller of the two which has more cypress growing in it.
