The two adult Barred Owls were present this morning at the big Live Oak tree on Gumbo Limbo Trail, but I saw no sign of the baby owl. The adults were being harrassed by an American Crow. Hopefully, the baby owl was not the crow's breakfast!

: Sunday Morning GL Trail had one baby owl fuzzy and two adults at largest tree that crosses boardwalk about 250 yards in. There is a small sign next to the tree. Look over your right shoulder up high. Anhinga trail had the normal stuff. The double crested commies have blue mouths and are easily photograghed. Water level is starting to get low. Also snail kite at tamiami Trail at old abandoned airboat area right west of restaurant and gas station. Look at the bald cypress tree on the north side of the canal.
