After I said I was sorry the buntings have returned. But I wonder if they are the same ones as they don't appear as habituated as the ones here since November. Maybe the regulars are gone north and these are ones coming up from the south. Nevertheless, all the feeders are active again and even a brown thrasher comes in to the bird bath. Anyone have luck with brown thrashers to a feeder? Night crawlers? Fruit?
