We put up a Screech Owl nesting box last weekend, as we have been hearing their territorial calls for weeks (just bought our house in Dec). Last night around dusk we saw a little owl head peaking out of it. This morning I saw a pair of Red-bellied Woodpeckers checking it out. I am working now to get them a nesting box up as well, so I can have owls and woodpeckers. We have 1.3 acres in S. Florida.
