I was at Corkscrew today, Tuesday, Jan. 18th along with several of my "volunteer" friends who walk the boardwalk at least twice a week. None of us saw any Red-eyed Vireos today nor have they seen any in a while. Did you get any photos? We did have White-eyed and Blue-headed Vireos. I was there to add at least 4 target birds to my Collier County Big Year: Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, Ovenbird, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker & Barred Owl. I saw the first three and heard the fourth. Everything else I saw or heard was "expected". Ran into several other Caloosa Bird Club members while there. Cool.
