Overall nothing extraordinary seen but nice weather to be out birding.

Started this morning at Indian Hammocks. Only had 3 warbler species: Prairie, Yellow-rumped and Palm. Several RT Hummingbirds at an Orchid Tree. Also BG Gnatcatchers, E. Phoebe, a calling Great Crested Flycatcher in the main hammock, Kestrels, Loggerhead Shrike and several Blue-headed Vireos. I now see why they used to be called Solitary Vireo. One tree had 3 of them at once and they were constantly chasing each other away, chattering away angrily. One even went for the Phoebe! Also had the usual resident birds.

In the afternoon headed for Cutler Wetlands. Several Mottled Ducks, Blue-winged Teals, Shovelers and a solitary diving Ring-necked Duck. Harriers and Kestrels were hunting over the marsh and 2 Ospreys were bathing. Overhead had 2 Short-tailed Hawks (dark) soaring with Turkey Vultures. Had individual Great Blue, Little Blue and Tricolored Herons and several Cattle Egret, Glossy Ibis, White Ibis and Wood Storks. Many Long-billed Dowitchers, a few of both Yellowlegs and individual Least Sandpiper and Killdeer.
