If anyone is heading to Shark Valley soon, look for the Little Blue heron behind the Visitors Center. It is molting and is mostly white with blue spots. A beautiful bird.
There has also been a brown pelican residing in the pond apple trees at that same spot. While it is common to see them in South Florida, it is rare to see them at Shark Valley.
