Finding myself overnight in Boca, I spent Sunday morning at Wakodahatchee and then Green Cay.
Wakodahatchee had a great number of birds from dawn to about 0800, including at least 40 Black-bellied Whisting-Ducks, Marsh Wren, Limpkin, American Bittern, Least Bittern, and Tree & Northern Rough-winged Swallows. There were numerous waders, including a fly-over Roseate Spoonbill and Black-crowned Night-Heron, and numerous Blue-winged Teal. There were also 2 Egyptian Geese on the shore of one impoundment, as they continue to spread like wildfire in southeast Florida.
Green Cay had many fewer birds from about 0815 to 1015, but it did have the Bird of the Day--a lone female Greater Scaup, swimming by herself near the back section of the boardwalk. (I have a couple of pictures, but don't have a web page to post from). I also had 3 Wilson's Snipe, Purple Gallinule, Green-winged & Blue-winged Teal, Northern Harrier, White-eyed Vireo, and a heard Sora.
