I had my first STK of this spring this morning
over the parking lot of my condominium 6 blocks south of the Doc Thomas House( Tropical Audubon Society
Headquarters ) at SW 55th Ave and SW 78th Street
in High Pines( theoretical Coral Gables ). This is about 2 miles north of the first urban nesting site
in 1990.
Last year there were reports of urban nesting in Broward County. I noticed a couple of reports from
there this spring.
