No Chiggers! The Long-tailed Duck has been seen everyday now since Dec. 29th. We are lucky to have it so close to home as we have been able to observed the bird for countless hours :)
We did our usual lunch stroll today and found the bay rather dead besides the many Cormorants that were out today. We did see a Lesser-blacked Gull on the sandbar. Best bird of the walk was an Orange-crowned Warbler which gaves us incredible looks as it foraged.
Birds should be on the move with this front so it will be interesting to see what gets stirred up.
