Well... Some readers may be interested to hear, while others may be muttering under their breath, "Oh no, not again". But... the Mystery Bird has reemerged in the same spot as before. Whether this is the same bird or another is up for discussion and, unfortunately, I was unable to get a clear shot (photo -- not shotgun) to document it here. If it hangs around (which seems likely), I will post another photo. Anyways...

High season has begun as we had 21 birders this morning. We began by looking at, and discussing, the Mystery Bird (most agree that it is an immature Nashville Warbler) and then a pair of Yellowlegs (most agreed that they were Greater).

We could not locate the Great Horned Owls, though Larry-the-owl-man heard them earlier in the morning. We're still hopeful that they will nest in an area visible to those interested.
