Of the two birds you mentioned, the Eurasian Collard Dove is the species that occurs in Miami, aswell as the rest of the southeast. The Ringed Turtle Dove is rarely seen after occasional pet releases or from weddings. They used to have been breeding in St. Petersburg, but the Collard Dove has almost wiped out the Turtle Dove from hybridization and competition. Now, it can be easy to see over 200 Collard Doves in 30 minutes in some areas.
