This isn't a bird post, but it is TAS related. I hope no one minds. People always ask me on TAS walks when they will be able to see the videos I shoot. On Wednesday, Jan 12, I will be giving the entertainment part of the TAS monthly meeting with a video I shot in 2008-2009. It is 50 minutes long and has almost 100 species in it shot in Florida, North Carolina, and Alaska.
The theme is the traveling that birds do, but there is a good bit of history in it too. It tied for first place in the 2009 DVInfonet Wildlife/Nature video contest. If you want to see it,
the meeting begins at 7:30.
