Yesterday I reported seeing a banded peregrine falcon on Virginia Key to a site I found on the web. The coordinator (from NY Dept. of Environmental Conservation) got back to me with word that the bird was banded at the Bayonne Bridge in New York in June 2010. The coordinator said this may be the first report of one of their banded birds being observed in FL.
