Possible Collared Dove/Mourning Dove hybrid

Hi all,
We have had an unusual dove coming to our yard for almost 2 weeks now. I have photos which I could send to one of you to post. It appears intermediate in features between these 2 species, and it is much darker than a Collared Dove. A quick Internet search revealed photos quite similar to what we have here. Is this something of interest to any of you?
