Troy and I saw 3 Horned Grebes feeding to the left of the sign that had 3 Double-crested Cormorants sitting on top of it. The grebes moved along to the right of the sign. With scope we could see white cheeks, throat and neck; dark crown and nape, as well as white under the wing when one of the grebes lifted itself up and out of the water momentarily with wings spread. There was also 2 Pied-billed Grebes for comparison. One Red-breasted Merganser was sitting in the water to the right left of the sign. No Redheads (except for Mariel), Gadwall, owls or Lesser Nighthawks at Dump Marsh.
