We spotted a Vermillion Flycatcher at C-111, the culvert outside the entrance to the Everglades National Park at 5:00 pm on 3/09/04. It was perched on the fence west of the canal, east of the entrance.
We also left a message with our phone number on the TAS Hotline. We are visiting from Minnesota and today was quite a trip for us. Other notable birds spotted today include: Swallow-tailed Kite at Pa-hay-okee Overlook, Worm-eating Warbler at Bear Lake Trail, and several Great Crested Flycatchers, along with all the usual suspects.
