The Bell s Vireo continues at A D Barnes Park, seen this morning behind the trailer adjacent to the nature center. A nice selection of birds also continues, including:

Blue-headed Vireo
House Wren
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Gray Catbird
Northern Parula
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Pine Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Worm-eating Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Summer Tanager
Painted Bunting
As reported earlier by Angel and Mariel, the Long-tailed Duck continues at Graham Dairy Lake in Miami Lakes, along with at least two Buffleheads, plus Ring-necked Ducks, Lesser Scaup and Ruddy Ducks.
The two female Redheads at Dump Marsh continue in the east pond, along with American Wigeon, Mottled Duck, Blue-winged Teal, Northern Pintail, Ring-necked Duck and Lesser Scaup. This pond is difficult to see from the dike, but if you walk to the pond s eastern end, there is a spot where you can walk through the brush to an open grassy area along the shore.
I had a total of 80 species for the day, a nice way to start 2011!
