Access to the Critical Wildlife Area on Ft. Myers Beach is via the Holiday Inn on Estero Blvd. Park at the shopping center across the street from the hotel, then head to the left of the hotel once you reach the beach. See "The Birder's Guide to Florida" by Bill Pranty for further details.
