Just got back from a whole week of birding throughout our great state and I wanted to share my enthusiam with fellow birders. The adventure, which started Monday and ended Sunday, was full-hearted but half-planned. By this I mean I could've spent a little more time planning...oh well, you live and you learn. Nonetheless, 139 species, including twelve lifers and two Florida birds, were tallied from The Everglades (missed the honeycreeper) to Tall Timbers Research Station. The weather could've been better and I could've used an extra pair of eyes but I still had a blast. If anyone is interested in knowing what I saw and where I went, feel free to email me for my trip itinerary.
