This monring while Troy and I chatted on the phone wishing relatives a Merry Christmas, I spotted a Downy Woodpecker in our sea grape tree. I followed it as it flew into a neighbor's yard. I also spotted a Blue-headed Vireo. Later in the evening around 5PM we found 2 Horned-Grebes and a Red-breasted Merganser in the bay from the canoe and kayak launch at Deering Point.
