This past weekend on a canoe trip to Pearl Bay in Everglades NP, we saw a dozen Swallow Tail Kites soaring over the mangroves. Most were closer to the Main Park Road than to Pearl Bay.
Also spotted was a bald eagle, several spoonbills, a kettle of white pelicans, thousands of tree swallows, one northern pintail, dozens of green and blue winged teal and many of our regular Everglades feathered friends.
