A quick stop at the "ruddy" lake near our home turned up four Buffleheads today, there were five yesterday along with some other goodies. We picked up a county bird yesterday a Greater Scaup! The Greater was present yesterday afternoon but today it was absent; we suspect it is still around because the number of Lesser Scaup has increased from yesterday. Also in the lake are Ring-necked Duck and about twelve Ruddy Duck. We are hoping that the birds keep on coming in. We will post more info on the location later, got to run.
