I'm waiting for results from two parties. Interesting sightings submitted so far include:
White-cheeked Pintail-2 on Fisher Island, a private island at the southern end of Miami Beach. Until provided with evidence to the contrary, I will assume that they are not wild birds.
The Virginia Key Great Black Hawk-heard on count day, seen during count week.
Crimson-fronted Parakeet (Aratinga finschi)-17 in Miami Springs, 2 in North Miami.
Cave Swallow-13 seen on Virginia Key during count week.
Red-eyed Vireo-1 seen at Enchanted Forest in Miami Shores. I am waiting for documentation before this sighting can be included in the final tally.
Bronzed Cowbird-flocks of 45 and 62 in Hialeah. Documentation is still needed for the flock of 62.
