Hello all, I am new to the board and have been in southeast Florida just over a year, so far nothing interesting to report that you seasoned vets havent seen I'm sure. a friend pointed me to this board and a few Florida birding sites. One of the reasons spouse and I came to Florida of course was the weather, the other is we are very into birding (having done extensive trips living up northeast), along with hoping to see some of Floridas beautiful birds we are also curious how to attract the little ones into our yard? we have out 2 feeders, live in a nice wooded area near a pond but after a year of trying are having only one pair of Cardinals visit the yard for a snack and thats it...we were told to also put out Thistle seed.
advise?
