Migration is underway with a few species showing up in my yard and surrounding area. Northern Parulas are singing and dominate the warbler census. A few Palms, one Prairie, Black-and-whites, and my resident female American Redstart. I discovered a Gray Catbird in my neighbors yard, but I'm not sure if it has overwintered. If it did, I never noticed it. Three days ago, a steady stream of Northern Parulas ended up into my area, singing throughout the oaks. What a beautiful song. Yellow-throated Warbler was seen last week, also.

Yellow-chevroned and White-winged Parakeets are pairing up, as well as aratinga parakeet species, and Orange-winged Parrots. Northern Cardinals are singing as early as 6:00 in the morning.
I am looking forward to the upcoming TAS trips and Birdathon!
