Most of the Matheson Hammock nature trail IS across the street (Old Cutler). That area has a name---"Matheson Hammock". Also, it's a good place to find Worm-eating Warbler!
As for ID'ing parrots (or any other bird) by location, I don't recommend it. It's a bad habit to get into and causes people to miss new birds because they assume they are the same old birds.
