Thanks so much for the link suggestion! At the Forum "duck lake" in Deerfield, I have seen many of these hybrids or strange wild forms. I had assumed that most of them were Muscovy crosses, but now I see that they are probably Mallard forms. And of course, some perfectly "normal" Mallards are there on the lake as well ...
