I got a call a little while ago about a Sabine's Gull that was found this morning roosting on a private lake north of Ft. Lauderdale. Although the roost site is not accessible, birders in the northern portion of Broward might want to keep an eye out for this bird. If you want to look for this bird, I would suggest starting with the lakes near the Pompano landfill, which seems to attract most of the gulls in north Broward.
