Just a short note--for those trying to sort them out, don't simply assume that a myna on a building is a Common Myna; I have seen Hill Mynas perched on man-made structures, and there are a few who use the 6th floor window ledges and roof edge at my office (South Miami)as a perch from time to time. But I agree with Bill Pranty that I've never seen a Hill Myna on the ground...
