Three Lesser Nighthawks over the canal just before the gate to Dump Marsh at 5:45 this afternoon. They headed off in the direction of Mt. Trashmore. I wanted to get there earlier, but I had a doctors appointment. I took a couple of photos, but with such low light the auto focus wouldn't focus. However, a key field mark is visible in the photos: the wingbar is closer to the tip than on a Common Nighthawk.
