12/10 We birded many parts of our CBC area: Highlights:
Westin Hotel Complex, Cypress Creek: Hooded Warbler (1-male) continues, Orange crowned Warbler-3
Warbler Wetlands (NE 21st): Summer Tanager-(1)
Woodmont dog Park, Tamarac: Goldfinch- (1)
Wooodmont natural Area: Yellow throated Vireo -(1) Screech Owl- (1), RC Kinglet-(1) First of season, Bald Eagle-(1) adult
The last 3 sighting of the Hooded have been in the Southeastern most part of the parking lot, south of the heron lagoon. Bird is usually low in the "varsia" Locate by note first ,the bird will come in to " phishing" with patience'
All AM 10 Warblers species and a increase from prior weeks of vireos and orange crowned and Yellow rumps.
